While I was frustrated over an ultra-long bus wait, God placed Eugene right in my path. He was on his way to an early morning shift at McDonald's (the one near Navy Pier). As the conversation progressed, I asked him what he thought about Jesus and surprisingly enough he replied that he hadn't thought deeply about Jesus, religion, and stuff like that. God gave me a couple minutes to share how Jesus has redeemed me and then to direct Eugene to the Bible - God's written self-revelation. Pray that the Holy Spirit will do the "heavy lifting" in Eugene's life.
