I was wondering how to engage a guy like the one who was sitting next to me on the train. Thankfully, God brought the idea of the Cubs and Sox to my mind. God worked it out that Ryan is a Cubs fan - allowing me to easily relate to him. Raised as a Catholic, he still seemed to embrace the faith. I explained to him the difference, though, between being a religious person and a Christian and how God has showed me that my own good deeds are like filthy rags. He appeared to understand and to be thinking deeply about what I said. Pray for him!
