Dan, a carpenter, was riding the the train to see his children and grandchildren today. He professes to be a Christian and has been "church hopping" for most of his life. When he lived in the suburbs, he went to Willow Creek and loved the church. Now, he goes to a nondenominational church on the north side. He seems to love that within a church body there is community - a God-given blessing, but definitely not something to elevate above the Gospel. Pray that he will get involved in serving God, not just being served by different churches.
