Kim came onto the train this morning carrying her iced coffee, of which she is an avid drinker. She was excited since the last day of school had finally come. As I learned more about the southside school where she teaches, my heart became burdened for the kids and teens there. Nobody at home gives them attention. Nobody invests in their lives just out of love. Nobody seems to care about them. They so desperately need Christians who are willing to get into their lives, show Jesus' love to them, and tell them about the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ. Also, pray for Kim; she loves students, but isn't too big on anythings considered religious or spiritual.
