Today, Donald attended our morning church services. I didn't recognize him, but he seemed to fit in like he had been to River North Baptist Church before (even though he hadn't). After the prayer time, he stayed around, and we were able to get to know each other. Donald is homeless right now, and he told me of a couple of the things that have happened to him which have scarred his life. I offered to take him out for lunch, so we went to Quizno's and ate humongous subs. He talked all the right talk and appeared to be genuine, but it is so tough to know for sure. Pray that he will see that God loves to show mercy!
