Christian, but never read the Bible...really?

I met Robin on his way to O'hare to work the afternoon and evening shift at a ticket center. He professes to be a Christian and more specifically a Catholic, but also told me that he has never read the Bible, not even small bits and pieces of it. I explained the importance of reading God's revelation to us to him and what the Bible has done in my life. Then came my stop, and the Holy Spirit will have to do the work.
